Oven Roasted Parmesan Asparagus

Asparagus is an underrated vegetable that I have grown to love. This oven roasted parmesan asparagus recipe is quick, easy and tasty!  You will love it!

Apparently, asparagus takes up to 3 years to grow, but once it does grow, a single seed can yield a crop for up to 10 years.  That’s pretty incredible!  Asparagus is also packed with nutrients and antioxidants, including vitamin C, potassium, and zinc.  Not only is this vegetable tasty but it’s also good for you!  So grab a bunch of asparagus on your next grocery trip and test out this recipe! Your taste buds will thank you!


  • Bundle of asparagus
  • Grated parmesan
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Garlic salt
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.  Begin by washing the asparagus.  Then, cut off the ends and trim the sides.   Lay the asparagus down on a medium sized baking sheet.  Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the asparagus.

TIP: Use a basting brush to make sure every crevis of the asparagus is coated in olive oil.  This handy-dandy kitchen tool will make your life so much easier!

Sprinkle the asparagus with all the listed seasonings.  Top with freshly grated parmesan cheese and then place the baking sheet in the oven for 25-30 minutes.

And that’s it! It can’t get much easier than that! This recipe is great for Sunday meal prep because you can easily make a large batch and eat it throughout the week.  This definitely has to be one of my favourite recipes!
